On the prestigious estate Portes des Iris in Switzerland Chianti Kitchen offered the first ever “Teambuilding through Cooking” course on September 2, 2008.

Under the leadership of Chef Seamus and Patrizia 80 course participants put on aprons to find out how you can develop team spirit behind the stove.

Team building programs have become an important instrument for developing effective managers, and Chianti Kitchen has given a new twist to teambuilding. The course lead by Chef Seamus and Patrizia began with a warm welcome on the terrace and a brief presentation of the key theme of the course: Tuscan Cuisine. The hands-on course began with fresh pasta – kneading, rolling and shaping. Afterwards the 80 participants moved to the stoves where they prepared pasta dishes, risottos and even the famous tiramisù. The course was crowned by a tasting dinner where the “culinary apprentices” discussed passionately the qualities of each others’ creations.

This teambuilding course has been a great success, and Chianti Kitchen will be delighted to repeat this experience at Portes des Iris, in our cooking school in Tuscany or anywhere else in the world.

Wishing you many great culinary adventures, we send our fondest greetings from Tuscany.

Seamus and Patrizia
